Preparation of copper foam using dissolution and sintering process

چکیده

Copper foam has been prepared using the powder metallurgy process and carbonate dissolution in water. The potassium ratio that added to mixture were (30, 40, 50) wt % respectively. Compacted samples fabricated at pressure of 200 Mpa. was undertaken warm sintering 875 oC for 3 hours an argon (Ar) atmosphere. results show copper foams with porosity 71.8 83 successfully, have a pore size (0.130, 0.251) mm, density range (2.48, 1.6) g/cm3
